On the 19th of April 1660

historyAfter two years at sea – the Dutch United East India company ship, De Liefde, entered Nagasaki harbour. No one could have foreseen that for 250years, solely from the island of Deshima, the Dutch would be the only foreigners allowed to trade with the then very closed Japan.

A stone bridge was at that time the only physical link between two totally different cultures. Almost four hundred years later, despite all sorts of modern communication and transportation method, there still exist stark differences between East and West. Tads International bridges the gap between Eastern and western cultures, especially in the field of translation, graphic design, art direction, image processing and computer illustrations, with printed products and/or multimedia presentations as the end result.

Tads International is managed by a Dutch-Japanese management team that has wide experience of both the Japanese and European markets. Consequently, this management team is able to advise Japanese and European companies that wish to operate in each other’s market.
